Like usuasl, things have been pretty crazy. We had 2 adoptive families here last week to pick up their sweet boys. The families had some trouble with sickness and were not able to spend as much time at the home as we (and they) wished. Saying goodbye to their babies was so bittersweet. Part of me is so extremely grateful that they are going to a great Christian family who will love them and provide them with knowledge about their Savior. The other part of me is extremely selfish in wanting to keep them here with me. I loved the families! They were so much fun! Pray for them.. one of them found out when they got home that their son has pnemonia and RSV. As if transitioning to a new family, home, and country is not difficult enough, they now have this on their plate. So please keep them in your prayers. Also, we have 2 more volunteers coming in so pray for their safety!

Since January 1st we have had 9764 feedings. Bob, a boy who grew up here, works in a factory in Taipei (the capital of Taiwan). There was a man started a little fire to get warm and ended up burning the factory. They lost 20,000 bottles of milk! They saved around 2,000 bottles of milk and ended up donating those to the Home. Bob had to jump two stories to not get burned. Also, there is another boy, his English name is Grant, who grew up here as well. He has been in the hospital for so long after a hand surgery. We miss having him around and he always knows how to make us all smile!

Anyway, things are going great. We are all getting along so well and putting all our strength into loving on these babies!! There are some girls (bigger kids 2 and older on the other side of the home) who are just so amazing at playing piano. Listening to them play so much has really made me feel kind of bad that I did not stick with piano. My mom told me that I would regret it if I quit. Point for Mom, she was right again! Today I played a little bit. I have lost so much but I am glad I am still able to read music! We have a small church service led by Ted Skiles on Saturday nights for all of us who help the babies. It is so great! It feels like God is talking directly to me through Ted. We also sing out of old hymnal books and I have just fallen in love with some of the songs.

It is past my bedtime! Love and miss you all! <3 JJ
